'easy-to-do' fat loss tips

I'm thankful that we've been able to add to our team which will help enhance our level of service and positively serve you and more people.
 
Many of the people that come to us ask about the best way to effectively change their body composition and reduce body fat. For many of you reading this you may have tried different techniques that you may have read about in magazine or books. Some of these may have given you some success, some may have seen poor or temporary  results. I conducted a body composition(body fat) test on a client recently and from the last time we assessed his composition he had lost over 2% body fat. I asked him what he had been doing to which he replied "taking your advise and eating healthier" He went into a bit of detail into what he had done over the last 6 weeks and it was interesting to hear that he hadn't made a huge changes, just applied a little thought and planning.
 
So here are some quick tips  for you  if you are wanting to lose body fat and change your composition.
 
Remember these are simple tips. Shifting your body composition requires a 'individual' approach for best results. One size "doesn't" fit all. Speaking with Nutritional Therapist can help many people best way to find out about your metabolic type and which food works best for you and your type.
 
Ok, Simple fat loss Tips.........
1.Drink water.
If you've been reading my blog posts over the last 2 years, you know I've mentioned the importance of drinking good quality water on a regular basis to help maintain healthy skin and other systems of the body. We take our water supply  for granted,  but we should take advantage of the fact that we don't have to worry about water and drink it regularly. if you are serious about changing your body composition you need to be drinking water, at least 2- 4 liters a day.
2. Reduce your sugar Intake.
Yes, Sugar is probably the number one culprit for why so many of us are over weigh and /or over fat. Sugar is hidden in so many of the foods we eat, even those that we think are the healthy options like ' low fat' products. The problem is that in those 'Low fat foods' the sugar content is normally higher than in the non low fat options. Excessive sugar in the body will  result in spikes in insulin release followed crashes and wanting more sugar.Try to moderate your sugar intake. Look to have more fresh foods/fruits such as pears,apples( if you need a snack) and less processed food as the processed foods tend to contain much more sugar.
 
3.Grill your food
A very simple tip, but one not to be over looked by simply grilling your foods it with help reduce the fat that you have. Many of the meats we consume have a considerable fat contents, these include Bacon, lamb, chicken, beef, Now while I'm not say you have to cut out fat completely,  by grilling your meats when cooking it will help to reduce the total amount of fat you consume, and that's important if you a re looking to reduce your fat percentage.
 
4.Think yourself 'Fat Free'
You maybe thinking what do you mean 'Think?'. Its simple really, all of what we do and have in our lives is a result of how we think. To help you reduce the amount of body fat you have, you must begin to think and see  yourself being 'fat free'.It may sound strange, but how you think about yourself will have a massive impact on how successful you are at reducing or changing your body composition. Start to see and believe that you are healthier and leaner and you will be!
 
5.Drop the Long Cardio Exercises
If you're still doing long 45 minute plus cardio workouts stop! Unless you are training for a particular event like marathon or distance event you are waisting your time and I'm sure your would like to have more of that.The best way to get your body to into a position where it is burning fat more effectively is doing strength conditioning training and interval training or a combination of the two. I'm not going to go into massive detail now, but there have been many studies done showing that the most effective way to get your body to metabolize fat effectively is by participating in high intensity interval training(H.I.I.T). This type of training is much more time efficient too. A workout can last up to 20mins and have much more benefit (when done correctly) that running or swimming for an hour! I know what I'd rather do!
 
These are just some simple tips that if applied, will help you start to shift that excess fat. Be sure to keep tuned in for some more simple tips if you're looking to change you body composition.
